Yang Meng was born in 1995 and grew up in Zhuzhou, Hunan, China. She received her B.S. from Shaanxi University of Science and Technology in 2017. Later, she joined the research group of Prof. Yaqing Feng in the School of Chemical Engineering and Technology at Tianjin University. By then, her work was focused on exploring novel metal-organic frameworks for drug delivery and photodynamic therapy. After receiving her M.S. in July 2020, Yang joined Prof. Jian He’s group for pursuing her Ph.D. at The University of Hong Kong. She is currently working on the development of MOF-based heterogeneous catalysts for C–H bond functionalizations. In her spare time, she loves traveling, reading, and watching films.
