Tehseen was born in Punjab, Pakistan in 1995. She received her B.S. from University of the Punjab in 2017. Meanwhile she developed her expertise in Laboratory skills and completed one project on characteristic tailoring of polymer matrix composites. Later, she flourished her skills as instructor of Chemistry at a college and university level. She also acted as Assistant Education Officer in order to boost her leadership qualities and management skills by mentoring a team of 90 teachers. After one year, she moved to Beijing and worked under the supervision of Professor Tianxin Wei at Beijing Institute of Technology. By then, she devoted her focus to the development of biosensors which implied molecularly imprinted polymers, surface plasmone resonance and RAFT technology. After receiving her M.S. in July 2020, Tehseen joined Prof. Jian He's group as a PhD student at The University of Hong Kong. She is currently working on designing of MOF-based heterogenous catalysts for C–H bond functionalization. She enjoys reading fictions, travelling, and hiking.
