Li-Juan Liu was born in 1996 and grew up in Nanyang, Henan, China. She received her B.S. from Shaoguan University in 2018. Afterwards, she conducted her M.S. research on synthesis and catalytic applications of thiolate-protected copper clusters under the supervision of Prof. Thomas C. W. Mak and Shuang-Quan Zang at Zhengzhou University. Then, she joined Prof. Jian He’s group for pursuing her Ph.D. at The University of Hong Kong. She is currently working on the synthesis of clusters-based catalysts for organic reaction development. In her spare time, she loves climbing, singing, and sleeping.
