Deyang Wang was born in eastern China in 1997. He received his B.S. from Nankai University in 2019. While there, he worked with Prof. Zhongwen Wang to develop a practical way for cycloaddition of epoxy compounds and alkenes. What's more, he also participated in a program focusing on developing novel photocatalysts for water splliting reaction under the supervision of Professor Lisa Pfefferle at Yale University. He is currently working on the modification of heterogeneous photocatalysts to enhance its lifetime and performance by using both organic and inorganic tools. Outside the lab, Deyang likes watching movies and playing badminton.
